COVID-19 Policy:

COVID-19 has been a dynamic situation with changes and modifications to guidelines and requirements made on a frequent basis. CDC guidelines and state and local regulations have changed multiple times since workshop planning first started and we continue to monitor changes to requirements and are ready to adjust policy as needed.
-We are asking that all attendees obtain a negative COVID test prior to entering the workshop space (sample should be obtained <72 hours prior to the start of the workshop).
-Attendees should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID like illness and should not attend if they are experiencing any symptoms.
-All attendees will wear masks regardless of vaccination status. In addition to wearing a mask, unvaccinated attendees should maintain a minimum of 6 feet of physical distance between themselves and others to the maximum extent possible while indoors.
-Disposable masks will be available in limited quantities for attendees who forget to bring their own.
-There will be multiple areas for hand washing/hand sanitization.
-Universal precautions (called Standard Precautions by the CDC) will be reviewed at the beginning of the workshop and should be utilized by all practitioners at all times during the workshop.
-Attendance is being voluntarily limited to less than 25% of the venue’s capacity to allow for increased area for physical distancing between attendees.
-The event space has adequate ventilation and air purifiers will be in operation. Depending on the comfort of the group, the door to the space can be opened and  fans will be available to increase ventilation throughout the space.
-We are not requesting that attendees provide proof of vaccination nor will we ask students about their vaccination status.
-These policies will be provided to all attendees prior to the start of the workshop and they will be reiterated verbally at the beginning of the workshop and periodically as needed.

Below is a summary of some of the key guidance/regulations that we have used in the development of our COVID policy.
*Based on the CDC’s interim public health recommendation dated July 27, 2021, it is recommended that fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission. As of August 23, 2021, Saratoga county is experiencing high community transmission levels.
*Our policy has been updated as of August 23, 2021
